About this opportunity
This is a training post requiring the successful candidate to undergo a Master's Degree training programme.
Responsibilities
- Undergo a Master's Degree training programme.
- Acquire pedagogic skills.
- Understudy senior members, including attending lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical training.
- Conduct tutorials, seminars, practicals and studio works.
- Assist in research, consultancy and outreach activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by relevant authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics or Building Economics from a recognized university.
- GPA of 3.8 out of 5 or above.
- Attach an up-to-date CV with reliable contacts, postal address/post code, email address and telephone numbers.
- Attach required academic certificates, transcripts, Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates, and birth certificate.
- Upload a recent passport-size photo in the Recruitment Portal.
- Provide three reputable referees with reliable contacts.
- Submit a signed application letter in English addressed to the Vice Chancellor, Ardhi University, P. O. Box 35176, Dar es Salaam.
- All certificates must be certified by a Magistrate or Advocate.
Eligibility
- Applicants must generally be citizens of Tanzania and not older than 45 years.
- Applicants employed in the Public Service may not apply.
- Applicants retired from the Public Service may not apply.
- Only applicants who studied at a university and in a programme accredited by the Tanzania Commission for Universities are eligible.
- Foreign examination certificates must be verified by NECTA.
- Foreign university and training-institution certificates must be verified by TCU; foreign university certificates must bear a GPA calculated out of five grade points by TCU.
